Want to know more about how great life is with Down syndrome?

Medical understanding and advances in the last 30 years have greatly increased the life span, and quality of life for those with Down syndrome.

In 1980, the life expectancy for someone with Down syndrome was less than 20 years of age, in 2019 life expectancy has continued to grow to over 60 years.
​
Adults with with Down syndrome are now doing things that couldn't be imagined in the '80s, including driving cars, graduating from college, getting married, working, and living independently. We are excited to see where our friends and go in the next 30 years!
